Kicking off Hanan Arts’ new multi-year Baladi Project, Hanan Arts and the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab at Florida International University present two dance workshops that delve deep into the themes of race, risk, and resiliency through contemporary Egyptian, African Diaspora, and Caribbean movement.
These workshops, facilitated by dance artists Tiffany Madera and Michelle Grant-Murray, are in collaboration with the I am Little Haiti exhibition curated by Dr. Rebecca Friedman, Florida International University, and Carl-Philippe Juste, IPC at Green Space Miami.
