Artist Spotlight: Cara Pastore AKA F22 Studio
The 2018 Havana Habibi Festival was captured in all of its vibrant glory by the talented and wonderful photographer Cara Pastore of F22 Studio. We’ve asked her to send us some of her favorite photos from the 2018 Havana Habibi Festival - she sent us more than 70 photos! Like her, we couldn’t choose just a few - and so we are delighted to share many, many of them with you.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Cara Pastore, AKA f22studio, is an artist working within the mediums of photography, video, sculpture and textiles. As a documentary historian, she held the title of State of Georgia Photographer and currently provides imaging for Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Professional Photographers of America. She holds both a degree in Fine Arts and Journalism and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Pastore has an extensive track record in image creation, photography and art for public spaces as well as government agencies and non-profits. Creating captivating larger than life portrait and video series, Pastore has created a body of work around culture and history. Through art she celebrates and advances our history, talents, and diversities. Pastore has collaborated with social justice initiatives for National Center for Civil & Human Rights and Georgia Innocence Project as well as projects with Girl Scouts of America and the Otis Redding Foundation. While traveling the globe documenting leaders, cultures and artists, She is the Visual Artist behind the marketing and branded content of a wide range of non-profits, economic development and entertainment initiatives.
